This glass is not flimsy, the filter is sturdy, and it makes a great pot of cold brew. On my first attempt I medium-coarse ground 4 ounces of coffee in my burr grinder. That was a bit too much coffee, since I barely fit in the filter. I would suggest about 3.7 ounces, no higher than the water level for the grounds. I add 1/2 the water while tamping down the grinds, then add the other 1/2, as the directions suggest. I left the finished product on the counter at room temp for 24 hours, then refrigerated. I added about 1/3 water to the cup of coffee and heated it in the microwave. The result was a very smooth, not bitter cup of coffee. Much less bitter than pour over. I drink about 15 oz. per day, so I got a four day supply of finished product. I am very happy with the result. ### ⭐ I do not suggest purchasing this item if you actually want to use it *by A***R on August 1, 2017* Although I received a replacement already for this item, as it was broken when it arrived, it was given as a gift. I was just informed by the recipient that the handle had broken off within days of their use. They had picked up the product by the handled and the whole piece shattered to the ground along with its contents (cucumber infused water). Being courteous the recipient did not want me to feel bad that it broke so they waited to tell me. Regardless, I do not suggest purchasing this item if you actually want to use it.
