HMR 70 Plus Chocolate Shake & Pudding Mix, 15g Protein

I have tried many meal replacement shakes trying to find the best taste combined with the most protein and other vitamins and minerals. HMR 70 Plus shakes are by far the best. I have an aversion to artificial sweeteners however the sweetener used in this product is not overwhelming like others I've tried. (If you are pregnant you should avoid sodium saccharin.) The texture is smooth, not chalky. The shakes fill me up, so I have one for breakfast, and sometimes one for lunch with a snack in between, then a healthy dinner. They are a little pricey, but worth the costs to me. Both the chocolate and vanilla taste great! They mix up frothy and thick in my blender bottle and when you use a blender and add fruit... they are even better.

I wrote earlier in the week how I didn't like a particular packet that came out thin with a different taste. I'm updating the readers out there, because to my delight, and disbelief, it seems it was just the one packet out of the 18 in the box. The chocolate on the second, and third packets have been absolutely delicious. I'm back to wanting to lick my drinking glass. I'm a choc-a-holic at heart, and I love the flavor of the HMR's chocolate. It really is scrumptious. I thank God it was just the one packet that was a bit 'off', and not the entire box. J.E.

A bit expensive. Chocolate is their best flavor! Make it with coffee in the morning for a delicious cafe moca. No problems with lactose intolerance. However you need to add fiber to these shakes, otherwise drinking them a meal substitute will cause bad constipation. In my opinion to loose weight they are effective. They are fat free. But fat is also important for absorption of vitamins therefore I always add a 1/2 tablespoons of peanut butter or a teaspoon of coconut oil or even light olive oil to make up for the fact that they are fat free which I consider unhealthy. Adding one teaspoon of good oil will make this shake 150 calories and help lower glycemic index. You must have a blender, ‘cause these shakes don’t dissolve easily. One recipe: fresh brewed coffee, chocolate shake, a teaspoon of coconut oil or pasture raise butter, fiber. Add coffee to the blender. Run it at low speed and add the shake powder while it is running until it completely dissolves in few seconds. Stop and add all other ingredients. Cover. Increase blending power. It usually comes warm enough for me but it may need a few seconds in the microwave to make it warmer. Enjoy!

Taste: Great Texture: Smooth Filling: Yes I’m looking to permanently change my diet habits; serving size is a big deal. I just drank the first shake. I plan to use this at the 14 pack (+ others) of the HMR meals to lower my caloric intake. The meals and the shake taste good and there aren’t excessively bad ingredients or massive amounts of sugar. This shake mic is lactose free which is excellent (not all the meals are but I try to minimize my lactose consumption). It’s a good plan to try and acclimate myself to eating less. When losing weight, it is best to make it a permanent life change, unless you want to yo-yo around in your weight (Other than a reward on occasion).

HMR is a program you can trust to work. The shakes are tasty and filling!
