Review: A Game Changer - My wife has many health conditions that prevented her from climbing the steep ladder for the pool. A deck was too expensive and decided to buy this one. Although some of the reviews are bad, this one is unbiased. Instructions can be better, they go from step 4 to the 12. The door doesn't shut close automatically as it should. Other than that, it was a great investment, sturdy, comfortable to climb by adults. Hand rails look flimsy but they are not. Wide enough for overweight people. Elegant and I bought 4 10 lbs sand bags (2 will do the job) to anchor it. No complaints, the wife now can join us and have a great family time. Will have to disassemble the inside steps for winter. Will keep you updated on how hard or easy it is. Above all, good investment and will enjoy it for years to come.

Once you get the gate attached you may need to adjust the hinge side position a wee bit higher to ensure the gate closes properly. Sturdy.

**Q: Will this work for pools shorter than 48inches? My pool is only about 42 inches tall?**
A: I believe it would work with shorter pools. It’ll just be much taller than necessary. There will be a large gap between the top step and pool so it may feel shaky.

**Q: I'm confused about how it should not be used with intex/inflatable/pop-up style pools. will it work with a 24 ft x 52 inch intex prism frame pool?**
A: I have an Intex 18ft x 52 inch pool.  I ordered these steps and installed them on my pool, they are amazing.  I think the inflatable or pop up pol would not be stable enough for these steps as they are very sturdy.  I am very pleased.

**Q: What did you cut the parts with to separate them?**
A: Hi, my husband put it together and I'm not sure that he had to cut anything?

**Q: does this include steps inside the pool AND outside the pool?**
A: This system has steps inside and out.  Some do not so make sure you read the description carefully.I noticed a big price difference if it only had outside stairs ($400 compared to $800-1000).

This is a very study and safer alternative to standard ladders. Very good for elders and kids. Assembly was time consuming and I did most myself. It does take 2 people to move. I would definitely buy this again.
