Tablet base
The mount worked perfect! I upgraded to a larger tablet for my CNC and this mount replaced a smaller one I have. Even the holes on the base were the same pattern as my old one. Couldn’t ask for more. Also quality was much better than my original one.

Inaccurate product information
Will only open to about 8.5 inches, NOT the 11- 13 inches advertised. This means my tablet can only properly mount horizontally, not vertically. To mount the tablet vertically it must be clamped on the sides which is insufficient to keep it from loosening over time and falling out. How can their documentation, including the “manual” supplied with the device, be off by as much as 4.5 inches? This is either purposefully deceptive or incompetent.

Works depending on what you intend to use it for
I needed a new holder for my 7" tablet on my motorcycle (cheap man's GPS) however it only lasted one ride. The weak link is the plastic mechanicsm that holds the tablet. It does not exert enough pressure to firmly secure the tablet for motorcycle riding. I was lucky and was able to catch my tablet before it worked completely loose (at 80 mph). If you're intending to use this on a bicycle or inside your car then you'll be fine. MC riders need to pass this one by--there is another all-aluminum tablet holder I found on Amazon that has a screw knob on one side that applies a firm, tight grip on the tablet.
