I use this for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler sound bar with 6 1/2 inch speakers, and it worked well.

Absolutely 5 Stars. The Factory Door Hole in my 2006 Jeep was way bigger than the 6.5 inch Speaker I was installing and these made the install so much easier and fit perfectly. I used the screws and clips that came with my Speakers and they fit well and secure in the Doors. These are a must have if your Speakers don’t line up or the Factory Hole is to big. They are made of thick Plastic so should last a long time.

Scoche lists these as the brackets for the front doors of a mid-90s Camry. When I looked at the legs I knew that not all three were likely to screw into place. I was right. I will be able to screw two of them in, the rest of the bracket will require either drilling or gluing. I'm going to go with gluing. They are nice for what they are, they will do a better job of what I did which is hold my speakers in with one screw and double-sided tape along the rim of the rest of the speakers. Also I can't roll my windows down all the way because the speakers sit in deep, this will let them sit out more. It is said that these may require modification to fit in some cars, so I'm not mad about them not fitting perfectly, they will do the job.

Installed brackets on Kicker 6.75" speakers and mounted them in a 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade. Brackets are built well. Very sturdy. I had to use a pliers and SLOWLY apply pressure on the inner tabs to brake them off. Listen, it's plastic, you have to go slow and use pressure, and wiggle and for the longer tabs, grip one side, then the other side. I used 4 sets of bots, washers, lock washers and nuts on each speaker bracket. I did have to dremel the vehicle doors to accommodate the smaller bracket bolts. I just cut small V's in the door. Pictures show it all.

These are the right ones for my jeep, they are built well. From amazon they do not come with any hardware, so you have to find the screws on your own. From amazon they also have no instructions, so you have to figure out which tabs to remove. But they do fit and do the job they need to. If you need instructions and hardware, buy these somewhere else.

These are the worst. They don't really fit with the three-hole setup of the jeep mounts - they are off by a couple of millimeters, and the tabs are too long, requiring dremeling. Several of the tabs get in the way, which also require dremeling. Not that that is difficult, but it is a pain, and it seems gratuitous for something that is supposed to be an adapter. It is also easy to cut off too many tabs, cause the ring has many tabs and holes. After dremeling I couldn't return them, but ultimately went with speakers actually set up to fit the Jeep without the adapters. The Kicker CS series have four screw holes - and also sound terrible, so were returned. Save your money for something that fits.

These adapters work great to fit a 6.5 speaker in a lancer evo 8. They are designed to be trimmed to fit. No issues in doors or deck lid.

If you buy car speakers such as the polk 6.5" series, i have the db 651s and the holes are actually sort of set inside making the mount holes smaller then stock 6.5" speaker that was in there on my nissan 350z. What these adapter rings have is an inner set of holes, like little tabs inside the ring that allows for smaller diameter ('m assuming these speakers i have are about 5.25" size speaker mount size. It has smaller tabs on the outer ring that you can use to mount the speaker, or those bigger square tabs 3, that you see in the picture if you have space. If you dont have the space, it looks like they're made to be easily cut off if you dont need those extra mount tabs. This adapter also works for most nissan/infiniti door mount as the 3 large tabs line up with the 3 mount holes in most nissan doors. What it doesn't give you is space, they're only about 1/8" thick, so if you have deep speakers this wont work for you, get the nissan speaker spacers made for the doors which are almost an inch thick.

A great adapter ring. In hindsight if I had the shop tools I could have made this myself but for the almost plug and play convenience this is a winnner.

Fitted in a Jeep 2014 wrangler Unlimited. Perfect for installing aftermarket speakers and using the factory grilles .
