Beyerdynamic wanted to produce a mic that would compete with the Shure MV7 series and this is what they came up with -- a truly great XLR mic that is a genuine competitor. Unfortunately, they were going up against a giant in the business and the mic never caught on. The result is that they lowered the price and gave bargain hunters a potential steal; what engineers call "one of the most underrated mics on the market." If you are looking for a broadcast quality mic at bargain basement prices, this is your deal. Review: ssssssibilant - Very bright sounding mic, gives innocent s sounds an aggressive sizzle. Sounded nice enough on guitar etc, just not entirely flattering on vocals etc. maybe a touch bright sounding in general. Shock mount included was a nice touch. For the reduced prices, this may be a very legitimate mic to have around for budget audio. ## Features - Type: This beyerdynamic PRO X M70 brings you a dynamic microphone for broadcast applications - High Performance: Trusted studio sound meets high performance to bring you professional audio quality - Built-In Filter: Integrated dual layer pop-filter and reinforced polycarbonate and ABS parts - Shock Mount: Elastic shock mount prevents rumbling noises from interfering with your recording - Connectivity: Offers a professional XLR connection ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B096L9CVRB | | Antenna Location | Streaming, Podcasting (cardiod), Gaming | | Audible Noise | 70 db | | Audio Sensitivity | 42 db | | Best Sellers Rank | #45,691 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #149 in Multipurpose Dynamic Microphones | | Brand | beyerdynamic | | Built-In Media | Elastic microphone holder, Studio pop filter with gooseneck, Carrying bag | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Audio Interface | | Connectivity Technology | XLR | | Connector Type | XLR | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 146 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Polycarbonate | | Frequency Response | 18000 hertz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04010118718359 | | Item Dimensions | 9.1 x 9.1 x 9.1 inches | | Item Highlight | XLR connector, pop filter and shock mount included | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | beyerdynamic | | Mfr Part Number | 718351 | | Microphone Form Factor | Handheld | | Model Name | M70 PRO X | | Model Number | 718351 | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. | | Number of Channels | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Polar Pattern | Unidirectional | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | Streaming, Podcasting (cardiod), Gaming | | Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 70 db | | Special Feature | Shock Mount | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 2 year manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** beyerdynamic - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Audio Interface - **Connectivity Technology:** XLR - **Connector Type:** XLR - **Included Components:** Elastic microphone holder, Studio pop filter with gooseneck, Carrying bag - **Model Name:** M70 PRO X - **Polar Pattern:** Unidirectional - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Streaming, Podcasting (cardiod), Gaming - **Special Feature:** Shock Mount ## Images ![M 70 PRO X - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tbxaKVTGL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Broadcast quality bargain *by F***I on August 23, 2026* It is interesting to watch how things things work. I mostly use it for Teams meetings, and it works really well. I sound great to my virtual meeting participants, and it does an excellent job with background noise rejection. In the past, I used a Shure SM58 mic. While I believe the voice capture is similar, I prefer the proximity effect of the M70 mic. Additionally, this mic is less gain-hungry than the SM58. The look of this mic is more podcast-friendly than the SM58, so it is visually appealing as well. ## Frequently Bought Together - beyerdynamic PRO X M70 Professional Front-Addressed Dynamic Microphone with Storage Bag, Pop Filter, and Shock Mount - Amazon Basics XLR Male to Female Microphone Cable for Speaker or PA System, All Copper Conductors, 6MM PVC Jacket, 6 Foot, Black - Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface for Guitarists, Vocalists, Podcasters or Producers to record and playback studio quality sound --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/397532115-m-70-pro-x](https://www.desertcart.in/products/397532115-m-70-pro-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
