The price is based on basic presentation it is delivered. Anywhere else you would pay twice as much for a pre-polished stone. That being said you can expect 2 cons: 1)they are a bit hard to hold onto and 2)you need to file them so you don't scratch up your skin If you use stones like this though you will be prepared and comfortable with filing down your stone. I keep mine on a soap holder on my counter. These stones work well and really combat any odors. I am pleased with my purchase and feel the size of each stone was generous.
