Battle Oxygen Lip Protector MouthguardWhere in the world was this mouth guard when I was playing sports back in highschool?? Wow! This mouth guard is amazing! I have always seen these type of mouth guards on tv and have always been intrigued by their design and how cool they looked. Back in high school I played American football and I had to wear a mouth guard and I always hated it! The cheap ones that the school provided where really thing and annoying. You had to boil them, then bite down on them relatively hard in order to leave an impression. And boy was it annoying to breath with them on!!This mout guard allows so much air that it’s kind of ridiculous! : ) If you are at a downwards angle a lot it will cause you to slobber and drool lol but if you’re standing up and looking forwards as in most sports then you will not have any issues. The rubber on the is so soft too!! You don’t have to worry about those extra hard guards that dig into your lips and can cut you up. I really like the design and over all functionality of the mouth guard. Again, I wish we had mouth guards like these a couple of years ago! I would have played so much bettet!! Haha Your front teeth are a tiny bit exposed and at a crazy angle you might be able to chip them. But that’s an en extremely crazy scenario.Click YES if this review was helpful. My husband and I both purchased this mouthguard. This mouthguard would be excellent for only a child, teenager or and adult with a smaller mouth for the fact that it only reaches half way back on my husbands teeth, leaving his back teeth unprotected. He can also bight down not too hard and touch his front, bottom and top teeth together, meaning that if he was hit under his chin too hard his front teeth would probably break or chip. He does have a bigger mouth and teeth so I think if they had a couple different sizes it would be better. It does cause you to drool if you are looking down alot but if your looking straight ahead its not a problem. I think if the plate that your teeth set on went all the way around your mouth instead of just the sides there wouldnt be an issue with drooling or being able to touch your front teeth together when you bight down. The pros are you can breath good if not better than normal, it fits nice and stays in good without having to worry about it falling out and it actually seperates your teeth from your lips so you dont have to worry about biting or cutting the inside of your lips or mouth, the only mouthguard that does this that I know of. So I would buy again for my kids or myself but not someone with a bigger mouth, not until they came out with a larger size anyways. Great mouthguard, keep the design, just needs a little more work and I bet it would be a #1 seller.

I bought this for my high school aged son for football. It is very sturdy and lasted him the whole football season.

My sons, both nose guards, did not sit out the entire season (except kickoffs) and played well from start to finish each games and we do believe the Battle lip protectors helped keep them fresh throughout their games and their lips and teeth well protected. The first reason we bought it was that my youngest son was moved from the o-line to fullback just before games started for his 7th-grade football team this year. He was pulled up to practice with the 8th-grade team a few times and one practice just before the first game he took a hit to the mouth somehow and busted his lip open. His teeth were OK, but the lip looked rough for a few days. He's an FBU-Top Gun alumni and we already knew about the Battle lip protectors, so I ordered a couple for him and his brother, who also is a o-lineman. ... The other reason, as a fullback he was expected to run much more and run harder to finish with the rest of the ball-handlers at the front of the pack during team conditioning. We also knew the Battle lip protector design helped provide for better breathing and getting more air to his lungs, which is vital for late in practice and late in games. A great product, especially for ball-handlers and yes, even for linemen.

The breathing hole is amazing makes it easier to talk and breathe. Great fit and the no boiling steps make for easy use with no complicated instructions.

My grandson plays football his youth mouthguard was bothering his teeth. We decided to order an adult size and he wanted the lip guard. This mouthguard is awesome, no molding, He popped it in and has been using it since with no complaints. Now all his friends want one.
