It's comparable to the Curls blueberry leave-in on her hair - light, moisturizes well, doesn't leave residue or flake - but with a sweeter smell. We keep them both on hand and the kids ick based on smell now. I have a second 5yo that I use this on too just before braiding. She has hair that doesn't absorb it very well if I leave it free, but when I braid it locks in well.
