The directions were pretty clear, but they didn’t label the sides correctly so we had improvise the hinges because we weren’t about to disassemble it and start over. It fits a decent amount of stuff in it. I am using it for all of my papers and research materials. It looked really small upon arrival, but it is a decent size. It’s not huge and definitely not small. I am going for a farmhouse look so it goes perfectly with my theme. I like that I can sit on it and put my shoes on when I’m getting ready. I also use it to put all of purses and pillows at night. Just know that if you are very impatient, the assembly will be awful because it takes some time. Wish you can just buy furniture on Amazon assembled already.
