The Pool Ruler Kit is by far the best solar kit ever for the following reasons: 1. The "clam shell" attachment to the blanket is very easy to install and maintains the same distance to edge automatically, just fold it and snap! 2. The adjustment to the straps is made at the center of the strap assembly and not at the attachment points where the reel or cover at times interferes with the buckle. An easy way to maintain the same length is to simply measure the excess strap length and keep it the same for all straps. 3. The Velcro attachment to reel is easy compared to using sheet metal screws which I've had mixed results with. 4. Support from Company is excellent! I use 10 straps to support the blanket for an 18ft reel length to lessen the load on each strap. Called the company and they quickly mailed two additional straps to supplement the eight that come with the kit at no charge. Here are a few tips that might be of help. Make a strap assembly without attaching it to reel or blanket and use it as a model just to get the feel of it., be sure it conforms to the instructions. Use a finger nail file to cut the 1 inch slot in the claim shell seems to work better than a box cutter and make the opening as large as possible to keep the strap from twisting. It all goes together very easily after the first assembly is done. I can honestly say after many years of pool experience that this is a great product and you won't be disappointed! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07347FQBQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #265,687 in Garden & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Garden & Outdoors ) #29 in Pool Maintenance Kits | | Brand | Pool Ruler | | Closure Type | pull on | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 3,328 Reviews | | Installation Type | Reel | | Item Dimensions L x W | 182.9L x 30.5W Centimeters | | Item Weight | 0.34 Kilograms | | Manufacturer Part Number | PR-106 | | Model Name | PR-106 | | Model Number | PR-106 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Dimensions | 182.9L x 30.5W Centimeters | | Product Style | Compact | | Shape | Rectangular | | Style | Compact | | UPC | 747906949384 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Pool Ruler - **Item Weight:** 0.34 Kilograms - **Model Name:** PR-106 - **Product Dimensions:** 182.9L x 30.5W Centimeters - **Style:** Compact ## Images ![Pool Ruler Solar Cover Reel Attachment Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614P0BnKV2L.jpg) ![Pool Ruler Solar Cover Reel Attachment Kit - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91kLCAIYvAL.jpg) ![Pool Ruler Solar Cover Reel Attachment Kit - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81r4IWU32wL.jpg) ![Pool Ruler Solar Cover Reel Attachment Kit - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rTQpN3UNL.jpg) ![Pool Ruler Solar Cover Reel Attachment Kit - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91iS+eitMfL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vraiment bien *by J***K on 8 September 2023* Facile à installer et à réparer si s enleve accidentellement ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Solar Blanket Kit *by T***. on 11 June 2022* I find it hard to believe we've had an 18ft x 36ft unground pool for over 40 years and have gone through many solar blanket attachment kits.
