It had a little smudge in the middle of the glass when I got it, and I took a paper towel and glass cleaner to it to clean it up. To my surprise, it looked like I'd taken sandpaper to it - the glass appeared completely scratched up. As I was about to put it back in the box and start a return, I thought "maybe there's a film on the glass?". Sure enough, that's what it was. They really should make it more apparent that there's a film that needs to be removed from it.
