I have over 500 wool sweaters (from thrift stores) on hand for my business at all times. I have prewashed all of them in lavender Eucalan and hang them up until I have need of them. I have never once seen a moth in my home thanks to Eucalan. I am certain that if I just hung them up straight from the thrift store, I would have certainly had a moth problem by now. The Eucalan keeps them smelling great, adds softness, and protection. But I want to warn anyone who is expecting this to smell like real lavender, it doesn't. It smells more like baby body wash. Mild but very pleasant. Eucalan wool wash is also one of the best soap I have used with the extremely hard water I get. My clothes sometimes still comes out dirty from the washer, but Eucalan cleans everything like a charm.
