Great purifier but the app is not accurate.

Do your research and check what features could potentially harm your babies. Xiaomi has taken upon themselves to leave this feature on by default with no physical buttons to toggle between on and off unless their app is downloaded. This is problem that needs addressing at a legal level. It poses a health risk for babies. Additionally, the sides of the device are not short of cheese graters and could severely injure kids. Buyers be aware.

Siamo molto soddisfatti perché con una cucina openspace lo usiamo molto per supportare la cappa e anche per dormire meglio. Quando si cucinano alcuni cibi come la carne, il purificatore raggiunge il valore 400-600, ed il livello di rumore è paragonabile a quello di avere una cappa in più accesa nella stanza, però più l'aria torna pulita, più il rumore si abbassa fino ad annullarsi. Non fumiamo e abitiamo fuori città. Da dicembre a settembre abbiamo usato il purificatore in base al bisogno e ci segnala il consumo filtri del 23%.

I’ve been using this Xiaomi Air Purifier 4 for more than 2 years, and overall it’s been a reliable and low‑maintenance part of my home. After living with it day‑to‑day, the first thing I noticed is how quiet it is on auto mode. I use this near my dining area and usually its very quiet unless we are baking/cooking and it will turn on the high setting. Setting it up through the Xiaomi app was straightforward, and it connected easily to both Alexa and Home Assistant. After a bit of tinkering, I also set up schedules and simple automations so it can turn on or off based on air quality, which has worked consistently. One thing that surprised me is the filter life. After two years and four months, the filter is still at around 20%, which is much better than I expected for something running regularly. The only small frustration I’ve had is when comparing it with my Philips air purifier. The air quality readings between the two aren’t always consistent, and without a third device to compare against, I’m not sure which one is more accurate. It hasn’t affected performance, but it’s something I’ve noticed. On the days I don't turn on the purifier, I can small the difference, specially in the kichen.

Filter has already been used for 75%…. So only 25% left. A bit sad considering the small price differents with a new one
