Review: Compressor button creates noise - This is my 1st ever Volt interface, and I'm happy with it. I bought the 276. I use it for recording metal guitars and vocals, and am happy with the pre amps. My only gripe is the compressor button will introduce a loud noise floor, so use at caution. I don't ever use it for recording vocals/guitars, but sometimes use it when chatting over discord etc. The compressor is basically a gimmick. Built quality is sturdy and nice, the interface looks really cool. The headphone input has TONS of volume so no worries about lack of volume when recording and listening. The vintage mode adds some nice warmth to my guitars and vocals. The installation and set up was easy as 123, and the free bundled software is really cool. Comes with Ableton Lite, several plug ins etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone not sure about this interface.
