Which one is perfect for the Sony 28-70mm lens? its shows 55 on the front lens

You need: SmallRig Lens Adapter Ring Kit for Matte Box 3196, with Filter Thread for CPL Filter ND Filter, 52mm / 55mm / 58mm / 62mm / 86-95mm Matte Box Adapter – 3383. Amazon sells them. Brings lens up to 95mm so Matte box will fit, with or without a screw-in filter. Works I use it.

How much smaller is this than the mini matte box ? And Can you use an 82mm vnd with this? Someone told me the mini is a bit small for 82mm filters

I have absolutely no trouble at all using 82mm VND's with this mini matte box from SmallRig. The trick is to use a separate ring adapter from your lens to 82mm (say 62mm to 82mm, or 77mm to 82mm, or whatever is needed). You then attach your filter to the front of the 82mm-to-95mm adapter that the matte box mounts to. Plenty of room to reach in and rotate the filter as needed.

Do you make a vnd filter for this matte box?

I don’t think they do considering it has a filter tray for removable ND filters. Not sure where the turning of the filter would be since you would normally have to remove it from the matte box.
