Sony 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Memory Card MSX-M2GS

I looked at Staples, Best Buy, and Office Depot for this item, then online. Online was by FAR much cheaper - by over ½ the price as in the stores. This item wasn't the cheapest when reviewing the prices, until you added in the shipping charges. My camera is a Sony, but I was not necessarily looking for a Sony card, but it was one of the best purchases I made. Originally we had a memory card that held 10 pictures, now, it holds well over 500 pictures. I am also glad we waited to purchase the memory stick because the price came down tremendously from when they originally came out. I would recommend this product for the price, and the quality.

It is VERY hard to find this memory stick in the stores. I DO NOT like to buy " compatible " parts... they are NOT an option for me and my $$$$ electronics/ appliances/etc..... I was thrilled to find it at Amazon ! GREAT price, vendor service and quality !! It is exactly was I was looking for and I found it !! What a deal !!! : )

This memory stick is a great buy. You will not regret it. With this memory stick you get plenty of speed, space, and reliability. I love having 2 gigs of space on my PSP. I put a bunch of music on it, a few videos, and still have plenty of game save space. If you are thinking about getting a lower sized memory stick, dont do it. It is worth it to have the extra space.

It works nice with SONY cameras. The construction of the memory seems durable, and I have never had write errors. It is quick enough to handle any video format. The only disadvantage is the limited compatibility with other brand, in this scenario is better choice getting an SD card if your camera allow it.

I was forced to buy this thing b/c my new sony cybershot camera did not support the same media my old cybershot did. My mistake of course for not reading the specs, actually I am very dissapointed with cybershot but that is beyond the scope of this review. THe media is super big and it has good quality, I have videos and very good pictures I have no complaints about it, i just wished that there were no compatibility issues....i.e. I cannot use it with my old cybershot.......

This is a good product with plenty of memory for modern cameras. I have a 12 mega pixel Sony W200 and at full resolution the files are about 4 MP. The 2 GB Memory Stick will hold over 400 photos at this resolution (much more at lower resolution of course). Movie clips of standard resolution of 10 or 12 seconds are also about 4 MP, again this memory stick has plenty of capacity for a weeks worth of vacation photos.

Not your normal memory stick originally bought for a camera of mine once I didn't need the it for the camera again tried it on another product and it did not work.

This Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo memory card works great for my DSCH7 camera. Sony recommends that you specifically purchase their products, which can be expensive and a hassle. However, I quickly realized that I would need more GBs to outlast my eventful day. I ran out of memory on an outing to the botanic garden and museum. I had to use my phone to capture the rest of the footage. Not cool! However, I purchased a non-Sony brand memory card with more GB memory and the camera has no problems writing/ using it. I'm now using a Lexar memory stick pro duo and all is well! Oh and I purchased this memory card over 4yrs ago and it still works well whenever I need it.

I've just received this memory stick for my seven-years old Sony F717. It needs to be connected with a sony adopter card in order to work in F717. I'm very happy it brought some new life for my old camera :) I decided to order another one so I can save more pictures during a travel.

This product is exactly what I wanted, thank you. It's the right size and the advice I recieve was excellant. It was in excellant condition when I got it and I've had no problems with it at all. It's very easy to use. If this product wasn't avaible my camera would have been useless.

Have used it in Sony Cyber-shot for several years with no problems
