## Description

DVD of Radiohead's live performance in Germany in June 2001 which was a masterpiece of aural symmetry. Beginning with the National Anthem, the band gave the audience nearly two hours of otherworldly experimentation in electronic rock. Filmed at the peak of their popularity, the concert conjures moods of loss and alienation in the modern world. 'They transform studio-centric creations into live songs that are both towering and incandescent, in concert Radiohead are as organic and explosive as any band playing today.' - PopMatters.

Review: Radiohead Rules - Ok, No B.S. This band rules and so does this DVD No it's not in High Def or Blu-ray or anything like that. What you get is Radio head rocking out at its best. great songs, great band. I saw this DVD a few times in the store and always past it over thinking it was going to be another hack DVD. The reviews on desertcart gave me the courage to solider on and purchase it. Best move i ever made. Glad to have it in my collection. I think you will too. Came fast when ordered and not one problem. Review: Beautiful ripoff - I'm sure this is one reason the band cut loose the label--that some schmoes from New Jersey could license a performance from Germany and sell it, and yes, the quality is pretty much adequate TV/2-channel stereo, but since I didn't see 'em on the "Kid A" tour, that makes this kinda priceless, right? (Their "tkol" show in Atlanta recently was, er, transcendent.) But if you love this band, you will enjoy this show, and meanwhile let's petition the band to release some surround-sound BluRay shows from the last couple tours ("From the Basement" tkol IS awesome), because they are the greatest progessive rock band of our time.

### ⭐ Sketchy

I've started discovering Radiohead over the last couple years and was looking for some concert video of them. Well, this is it--video. Don't let the 2008 copyright fool you, because this dvd looks like a bootleg copy of a VHS, with quite a bit of video issues. Honestly, if you muted it, you probably would not recognize it as Radiohead it is so frustratingly bad. The production is also sadly lacking in that there are a lot of shots of Thom Yorke or the crowd, and random ones of the rest of the band, but nothing that syncs with the music like they were familiar with the work when they shot it. The sound is only fair. I'm sure it isn't truly 5.1, but my chief complaint is how flat the bass sounds, even though they kick off with National Anthem. I'd give it two stars because at least it's 1:52 of concert video of Radiohead, but since I'll probably enjoy it more with the TV off and just listening to it through my stereo that sort of defeats the purpose of it being a dvd. If you can forgive the video attributes because you just just dig the band, more power to ya. Here's the set list: National Anthem Morning Bell Lucky Talk Show Host In Limbo My Iron Lung Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box Exit Music No Surprises Dollars + Cents Street Spirit You and Whose Army? Karma Police I Might Be Wrong Pyramid Song Paranoid Android Idioteque Everything In Its Right Place Airbag Just The Bends How to Disappear Completely
