The instructions were very clear and easy to follow - great item
Within the past couple of months, I've tried a couple unreliable scanners, but now I've found a great scanner I can count on. The others I tried could not keep connection with my devices. This one was super easy to connect and start using. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It makes checking in and out inventory so much smoother. Highly recommended.

Super fast, super neat
This thing is everything it aims to be. Scans all types of bar codes, can save them for later downloading to software or used as direct input to your computer or even your phone! I’m blown away at how well it works and how quick it is. Just using it with google gives you a whole new way to use the internet by directly searching upc codes online. That being said I did just notice one major flaw with this device while using it connected to the Bluetooth on my iPhone. I came here to type in my review and when I clicked in the box to start typing, the on screen keyboard doesn’t come up. I’m guessing that’s because the scanner becomes the default human input device. I had to turn off Bluetooth and disconnect from it for me to be able to type in my review! Not the end of the world I know, but that is strange behavior that can’t really be blamed on the scanner, it’s more on Apple and the way the iOS handles the device, but it’s something you should be aware of if you get this device and plan to use it with your iPhone. Other then that, this device is amazing. Work great with excel spreadsheets and pretty much any other application you could need entering of information of data encoded into barcodes. I don’t have any programs to use this device like for a point of sale or even and inventory program, but I’m sure it would work fine with those (although I think I did read somewhere it doesn’t work with square pos, so buyer beware and do your research before buying). I’m very happy I got this device and I plan on using it to catalog and document all my vinyl records (I have thousands and thousands of them). So if you were ever curious what info was in a barcode or if you want to be better organized or even if you have a small store or warehouse to run, pick up one or more of these scanners. You’ll be happy you did! Ps it even runs without a computer or phone and saves the data on the handheld to upload later! How cool is that!?!?

Great Value for a Full Feature 2D Scanner
We've had scanners for years in our pharmacy, because everything has barcodes. And over the past few years, everything has QR codes, and other types that you need to upgrade from your old 1D scanner (backs of licenses, etc.). This scanner checks that box (for cheaper than some others). And it doesn't stop there. The wireless function is very nice and transmits very far in my store, even past obstructions. The scanner itself may be affordable, but doesn't feel cheap. It's not quite as rubberized or heavy as some more commercial versions I've used, but it definitely feels more expensive than its price point. I've banged it down on the desk and dropped it without any real damage, but likely won't last as long as some traditional commercial scanners or if you're not in a carpeted space. One of my favorite features is the slight pulse vibration when you've scanned something, as well as the usual beep. I use this to scan barcodes in my office, and it's nice to have the tactile feedback instead of just the beep while you're moving along. As for battery life, I haven't charged this thing since I got it and it's still going strong. I imagine if you're using it daily for checkouts it'll wear down pretty quickly. Like I said, we've got lots of scanners in our pharmacy around this same price point, and none of them are wireless or have some of the same features. So this has quickly become my favorite and I'll probably grab a couple more. You won't regret it.

Lightweight, very quick scans
Being able to operate with a 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle or via bluetooth (without the dongle), this barcode scanner can last quite a while on a single charge of its rechargeable battery. It also has the option to be used while plugged in via a USB A-to-B cord. The scanner can handle varying types of barcodes quite easily. Additionally, I didn't have trouble scanning barcodes on varying materials such as boxes, stickers, fabrics, plastics, or even from screens. It was able to scan QR codes as well. I was surprised how fast it scans, able to scan and then be ready to scan again as fast as I could squeeze the trigger. When a barcode is scanned it accepts the information and inputs it into whichever window / feed the computer had opened at the time. After a few minutes of not being used the scanner very slightly vibrates and goes to sleep, conserving battery. I like the included stand, being able to grab the scanner or place it onto the stand very easily. The one issue I faced is that the USB dongle was very difficult to insert and remove. Otherwise, had no problems.
