Features: WaterproofOuter dimension: Approx. 7.87 x 4.72 x 2.95 inches(200 x 120 x 75mm). Inner dimension: Approx. 7.6 x 4.45 x 2.67 inches(193 x 113 x 68mm). Average wall thickness is 0.12 inches (3mm). IP Rating: IP65 Package: 1 x Enclosure Box 4 screws

Review: Industrial standard useful enclosure (that's a box) - Really useful small plastic boxes for electronics projects they are made from ABS plastic or similar which is easy to drill or even saw (with a small hacksaw) if need be. The moulding is good quality with little or no flash and they have the familiar "mounting holes and lid screws outside the seal" arrangement so that waterproofing should be good. A soft rubber gasket strip and screws are provided. The screws go into threaded metal inserts that are moulded in, so repeated access would not wear or strip them. Some shallow mounting lugs are also moulded in, they were almost the right spacing for my use but a small metal plate could be used if not. Altogether a good quality neat little enclosure for projects or any other use. You could say, "industrial standard".

The effectiveness of the waterproofing is as yet unknown but the sealing strip seems good when cut to length and you can feel it compress when you tighten the lid down, so it probably works!

Really useful small plastic boxes for electronics projects they are made from ABS plastic or similar which is easy to drill or even saw (with a small hacksaw) if need be. A nice enclosure made of material that can be drilled and machined without cracking as some material does. The effectiveness of the waterproofing is as yet unknown but the sealing strip seems good when cut to length and you can feel it compress when you tighten the lid down, so it probably works!

Expensive for an empty box, but that seems to be the going rate. It seems good quality but will require cutting and drilling for my requirements (power supply)
