Would purchase
My son loves this toy. Fits perfectly with his other Thomas train sets and tracks. Cute and easy to operate.

Seller is great, my son is hard on the product
My some loved this so much! He liked to hold the active wheels while it was on. I don’t expect any small motor to hold up to that type of abuse. Two things I recommend to production and consumers: production, if there was a way to disengage the motor when it encountered too much force, that’d be awesome! (Though I don’t know how that would defect cost for the average consumer), and purchaser, avoid hair. When I took apart the train to try to fix it, I found quite a bit of hair in the wheel assembly. Maybe we need to vacuum before trains, long hair parent here. Anyway, still thinking about reordering. It was gave such joy and worked decent on our wooden tracks (still needed to avoid sharp turns and steeper inclines.) Edit: reordered but Thomas. Ran over a single long hair and was struggling. Good train, watch out for long hair!!!!

Perfect Percy
The Thomas Train parts are getting harder to find. I have a set from years ago and have more grandchildren that love this set . Needed a new engine and selected Percy. He came in and works perfectly with just 2 AAA batteries. He is strong and is able to pull 5-6 cars and just the right speed !
