Since I now have both a new MacBook Pro and 12.9 inch iPad Pro - both with USB-C connections - the Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter won't work with these new devices. I got this set of adapters to give them a try. The results were great! They work with both the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro with my pair of older, but decent corded Sennheiser over ear headphones. Just plug them in and fire up the audio, no drivers or any fiddling with settings needed. The sound quality for music was really good - something I attribute to the built-in DAC used. I also liked that there is a green LED that lights up when the USB-C is inserted properly, so you know you have a good connection to your audio source. I've only had them a couple days, so I can't tell how long they would stand up to the rigors of everyday use, but they seem very well built. Obviously, these adapters serve a specific niche need - but if you have the need, you can't go wrong with these!

These work better than the Apple versions. I like the braided cord.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this adapter. I used a pair of higher end planar magnetic headphones, a pair of Koss Porta Pros, and some VJJB earbuds (Amazing set!) with an iPad Pro 12.9, and compared it to a bundled adapter that we got with either a pair of headphones from google or a usb c phone (I can’t remember, but it’s a standard adapter). From my comparing headphones and the other adapter. These are more V shaped, however, oiver emphasized treble can make music sound too harsh. That happened with one set of headphones I used, the Koss. Also, on all of these I didn’t have turn up my volume as much to reach the same volume. This adapter should get your headphones louder if you need that. Planar Magnetics = Right away, I can tell the details in music are more defined, and intense. The headphones I am using are a warmer set, meaning the treble isn’t over emphasized. The most obvious difference to music that I can hear is it increases the treble a good bit. Not to the point of sibilance, but it changed the sound signature of these a lot. My guess is a boost in the 1k-4K range. There is also a bass boost a little, but these headphones are not bass heavy so it didn’t come through as much as the others. Koss = It feels like the balance is off with this adapter vs the standard. The change in the frequency response ruins these headphones for me. Things are more intense, but not in a good way. These are more bass headphones. That is increased some, but the treble and mids sound off. They need to be dialed back. I guess you can with an EQ, but I am listening stock. Also, while it did make things a little clearer, it made them sound worse overall due to an imbalance of sound. VJJB = These reacted like the first pair, but the bass was more impacted. They already sounded really good, but this adapter increased their quality. Treble didn’t really go up, but was more emphasized and intense. By intense I mean there is more impact by the mids/highs. Piano hits have more force, cymbal crashes have more splash, etc. Details come out with more force. All in all, I am pleased. Just beware depending on the headphones you use it may help or hurt them, but 2 out of 3 of mine I tested with it helped.

Works great. I can’t tell if it was the dongle or the connection but from time to time it will randomly pause my music. Worked fine for calls but they are obviously shorter in time so hard to know. Will update after more use.

These work great and allow me to continue using my 3.5mm IEMs on my Samsung phone that no longer has a 3.5mm jack. Wired still sounds better the bluetooth in my opinion. I don't mind a cable!

To the dismay of many, the headphone jack port is quickly going the way of the dinosaur. Making matters worse is the fact that some customers may find themselves choosing phones that come in second to the one that they would really like to have, mainly because of the absent headphone jack. Thankfully the Stouchi USB Type-C Digital Audio Adapter affords customers the opportunity to have their cake and eat it too. Now they are able to buy the phone that truly meets their needs and still enjoy the flexibility to use plug in earbuds or headphones which are more affordable, rather than having to purchase Bluetooth products that require frequent charging. I use this adapter with the OnePlus 7 Pro phone and I am very happy with the purchase. Being a music lover I often like to listen to music through my A/V receiver 5.1 surround sound system. I have a Pioneer VSX-D711 receiver and I connect the OnePlus 7 Pro phone to it via the Stouchi Digital Audio Adapter and a 3.5mm Stereo to RCA Audio Cable (please see photo) which is very inexpensive. This has made me a very happy camper. Pros: ● the wire is very short and will not get tangled ● it's lightweight but seems to be sturdy, flexible and well made ● no obvious reason to question reliability over time ● LED light lets you know that you have connected properly ● the music sound that I experienced was clear and rich ● volume control on your earbuds is supported (please note that if your earbuds do not have volume controls this adapter does not have volume controls incorporated into it) ● it's compatible with many devices including the OnePlus 7 Pro ● you get TWO adapters in the package (very nice!!!) ● LIFETIME WARRANTY! (Now this feature rocks) ● there are other features that I have not tested Cons: Nothing to report here!!!!!! I am very happy with this purchase. The price is very good especially since you get two adapters in the package. I payed $16.90 in June of 2020 and the price as of this review is down to $14.90.

Excellent product, I would buy again

This two pack of headphone adapters arrived packaged well. But upon testing, the first unit would not output sound. There was also a decent amount of noise (crackling, buzzing, hum...). I tried two sets of 3.5mm TRRS earbuds with inline mic and control as well as one pair of over the ear 3.5mm TRS headphones. I was finally able to get sound output by pulling the headphone connector about 2mm out of the input jack (using plastic washers so the 3.5mm connector wouldn’t fully seat in the jack. Sound output wasn’t great... so a defective product that is a hassle to get replaced as it came in a two pack. The second one works well. The adapter is longer than the Apple adapter (11cm or 4 & 3/8 inches long) and the wire is a good amount thicker (2.6 - 2.7mm). Therefor it seems much more “rugged” than the Apple official adapter (1.9 - 2mm thick wire, total length of adapter - 8cm (3 & 3/16th inches) long). The sound quality is pretty good, better than I would have expected at this price point. Decent clarity and output. However, If you consider the defective one it’s actually like paying double the price (which ends up the same price as the Apple official adapter). The sound produced is louder than the Apple official adapter at the same volume level and it doesn’t seem to distort too much at higher volume levels. The only potential (somewhat nit-picky) issue I could find with the unit that works is that the light on the adapter is somewhat bright when using in bed and could potentially be an issue for those who need complete darkness to fall asleep (like me). I usually just flip it backwards when using in bed while listening to music or soundscapes to fall asleep. The light looks cool but seems completely unnecessary, at least on an Apple product. I have no experience with type-c on Android... Hope this helps someone.

I am a consumer who subscribes to Amazon Prime. It stated that my order would be here on the 28th of the month but it came one day later. This was not a big deal and was understandable as I live quite far outside of the city. I have used one of the two adopters extensively and it functions perfectly, it fits into the USB type-c port and headphone jack perfectly and at any volume there was no cutout of sound or drop of connection or any funny sounds due to bad circuitry or poor craftsmanship. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend this item to anyone who needs the product I am reviewing here. It is a great price and I am extremely happy with the product so far. Thank you very much for the positive and fair buy and sell situation and I would definitely buy from this seller in the future for any of my needs that he or she may have to sell to me. Ich weiß dass man heute mit True Wireless Hörern unterwegs ist. Ich habe auch welche. Aber die sitzen bei mir nicht. Ich habe unterschiedlich große und geformte Gehörgänge und meine JBL Wireless fallen mir nach 30 Sekunden heraus auch wenn ich still sitze. In Ears sind ja nunmal Hygieneartikel und so möchte ich nicht beliebig viele bestellen und dann bei falscher Passform wieder zurück schicken. Die werden dann vermutlich vernichtet. Ich hatte aus älteren Zeiten noch 2 Paar Sony In Ears die perfekt sitzen und echt gut klingen. Dafür habe ich mir den Adapter gekauft. Das kann ja nicht nur ein Stück Kabel mit zwei Steckern sein weil ja auf dem USB-C Ausgang des Handys sicher kein analoges Ausgangssignal mehr liegt. Aber der Adapter macht es genau dazu. Top. Klang ist top und man merkt keinen Unterschied. Somit ist das für mich eine echt gute Lösung bis ich vielleicht mal gut sitzende In Ears in True Wireless finden werde. Ich habe ein Samsung Galaxy S22
