You can totally shut it down and turn it back on; or just wait. If you have a few minutes. It is also a little hard to set it to the minutes and seconds you want. It keeps passing by what ypu want. Everything else is totally Awesome. Very Dependable. Nice looking. Can hear through whole side of the house. Sticks to refrig, stove and laundry machines.

Bought for my 93yo mother because her voice is so soft and Alexa doesn’t always hear her. She wasn’t able to figure this timer out. I have been using it instead and it’s surprisingly glitchy. I am not quite certain that I really know how to use it either! Pros: magnetically affixes to my refrigerator. Cons: hard to use. I would not repurchase this item.
