I even buy bottles of Techron in addition to what's already in the gas from the pump. They don't do much. Once I put in BG44k into the tank (and drive it for about one tank's worth of miles), I can feel the power in the engine come back. Feel, meaning, the car pushes you against the seat more when you floor it. Only BG44K does that. **Q: Whats the difference between this and the fuel system cleaner?** A: Chris, I don't really have experience with other fuel system cleaners. I used BG44 on my engine builders recommendation. I was having problems with my racing engine building deposits on the valves and increasing leak-down percentage. With several cylinders showing 6 to 8 % leak down, I ran the next race with 1/2 can of BG-44 in 5 gallons of 110 octane rave gas. After the race, those cylinders were all below 2% leak down. Also the intake manifold runners were sparkling clean. This creates a cleanliness hazard to the injectors. So, you can avoid a $150-$200 carbon depletion cure with 1 can of BG-44K every 5000 miles or less.
