Tastes like brown sugar and dates, not a mole! Having eaten mole negro at several restaurants in Oaxaca, I can say that this is not mole negro.

What a delicious product! We've enjoyed Mole Negro from Casa Mole on both chicken and steak for really tasty meals.  The complexity of the flavors, the result of the myriad ingredients that go into traditional mole sauce, have me licking the spoon, it's that good.  If you've every ventured to make Mexican mole sauce at home, you no doubt know how time consuming it can be to get it right.
