Ultra Cable 17 (1.23) String

I tried it after liking the Volkl Cyclone 16G string. This provides greater spin but feels a tad stiffer. Needs to be strung 5 lbs lower than what one normally strings at. A bit harsh while stringing since it is stiff and has sharp edges. Like many polys, loses tension quickly, but it is very playable for 3-6 weeks of doubles play 2-3 times a week.

I put this string as my mains ant they are terrific at adding spin to my shots. I have never been able to produce a lot of spin with other strings, but these allow me to hit forehands to to the sides I couldn't hit before. They are also great for cut drop shots. These will be my go to mains from now on.

One of the most impressive strings I've used to date. It's snapback ability rivals RPMs and keeps balls in lines whilest maintaining good accuracy. I would, however, knock it for being hard on the arm as it is a stiff string. If you have existing elbow or arm issues I would recommend stinging at a low tension (56lbs or less) or just avoiding this sting altogether.All in all a good string and I would recommend this string for players with a moderate to fast swing

Holds tension well. Very good bite on the ball. Good value string. I liked it as much as hyper g. A reel is a third cheaper, too.

You have to be a high level big hitter to use this string!

Is a good spin string

I strung mine up to 58lbs. At first it felt very stiff, but by the 3rd time I played with it tension dropped about 4-6 lbs, which was perfect. Not sure how long it will stay in the sweetspot for, will update as time goes by. As far as spin, I didn't notice much difference from hyper g or any other spinny string, but I'm more of a flat shooter anyways.
