You do literally disable the "adaptive" triggers and kinda ruin anything like a racing game where you might want to "feather" the Gas/Brake so I wouldn't recommend doing this to your only controller unless you exclusively play FPS games. The kit works with the rise 2.0 and the LED kit as well, just gotta watch and use all 3 tutorials and figure out the best order to do everything in since there isn't an all in one video. One important note: i had to get some sand paper and little by little sand the l2/r2 inserts to get a perfect fit, at first they were too big and kept the button stuck down, if anybody else has that issue.
