Brilliant sound quality and it’s so small, love that you can hang it on something with the strap on the back of the speaker. Battery life is great, would definitely recommend this product,worth the money.

I rarely leave reviews, but this speaker genuinely deserves one. Over the years I've owned plenty of Bluetooth speakers, and most have been disappointing — tinny sound, weak bass, and overall poor audio quality. This time I decided to spend a little more than I normally would, and it has absolutely paid off. The sound quality is outstanding for a speaker of this size. It delivers clear audio, impressive volume, and a surprisingly deep, punchy bass that far exceeds my expectations. If you're looking for a compact Bluetooth speaker that doesn't compromise on sound quality, I highly recommend this one. It's exactly what I was looking for and worth every penny.

I hunted around for ages for a bluetooth speaker because I felt it's going to be one of those purchases you don't want to repeat for a while. I *LOVE* this speaker! It connects very, very easily and after initial pairing every time you switch it on it will just automatically connect. Then, you just 'play' from whatever you've connected to (eg phone, etc) and it comes out from the Bose speaker. Easily fills a room with high quality, fully rounded sound. Volume is easily controlled from the speaker with '+'/'-' buttons and the Power switch is also very easy. It does something that I'm very, very passionate about in design and engineering ... IT 'JUST WORKS', BRILLIANTLY! #bravoBose. A single charge lasts for absolutely ages, but it also recharges very quickly. I also bought the additional case to protect it particularly for travel (not made by Bose, but fits it perfectly and is also high quality and very sturdy). I use this a lot, particularly listening to Audible books while I'm doing housework! *L-o-v-e it* ... and thank you Bose for making something that 'just works'.

I had a few Bluetooth speaker units over the years, from the £500+ down to the £10 tiny units We all know Bose has a reputation for devices that deliver high quality sound and one of my high price tag bluth tooth units is also Bose and does not disapoint. However, I was a little concerned that they may of let themselves down with the product. An item that is small, faily affordable and carrys the Bose name .. Surley the sound quality will be lacking ? Guess I was wrong because this unit has left me gobsmacked ! It has a rich sound and even delivers a respectale depth the to base tones, something that a lot of more expencive and much larger units fail to deliver. On top of that it states that it is shock proof AND has a IP7 water rating - not sure its any use to me as I cant see myself using it at a pool or on a boat :D but I am sure someone more adventures would love the IP raing that comes with this amazing unit. Only comment I must make is that I have given it 5* based on the combined benifits such as price tag / size and sound that it delivers (from such a small unit) - Does it sound the best on the market ? No. BUT it does sound better than anything remotley this size as well as a lot that are at a higher price point and for that alone if you are considering a VERY portable bluetooth speaker that sounds great then this one should be on your list.

This little gadget works as well as any Bose speaker - which is to say it’s easy to use and sounds good*. It needs a firmware update which the app will load for you though it takes AGES to download before it applies and the screen needs to stay in the Bose app while this happens (a pain not to download in the background). *The sound is solid - amazingly good bass for the size of the unit but slightly coloured as a result of this balancing act, not stereo (but it has a trick for that**), which obviously means you can’t judge spatial placement and so on, but the sound is bright, agreeable and quite listenable - and the speaker is waterproof enough for the shower if you really need that. And the speaker is a conference speaker and microphone of course - though my use of it in Teams suggests that the noise rejection isn’t all it should be and other callers may get echoing if you use this function. But it works well in 1:1 phone calls which is something I guess. You can also summon your AI assistant when not in a call, or pause, skip and resume play. And all that works as you’d expect too. Very Bose... ** The app allows you to add another speaker to make a stereo pair - I haven’t tested this but I assume it works as well as Bose connectivity usually does. **UPDATE** Just bought another one of these as a gift. Can also confirm these things are waterproof :)

Did a lot off research on this after the rechargeable battery in my last Bluetooth speaker - a £30 Blaupunkt - died and I couldn't recharge it anymore or replace it! This happened after really not a lot of use, so wanted to take more care over my next investment. This comes highly recommended and for the most part I have to agree. The sound is incredible for such a small speaker and it goes loud enough for most casual listening purposes. I would appreciate another notch or two on the volume, as maximum is sometimes just a little short but for it's size it is incredible. My last one was 3x the size of this and for that reason I can see it getting used a whole lot more. This now lives in my backpack (taking up very little space) which has all my 'emergency' stuff in it and goes everywhere! I only discovered yesterday (after a few days use) that my new phone had an EQ setting turned on by default that was reducing the bass and it still sounded good! Once I turned that off it has a very full sound. Stick it in a corner or next to a wall if you need even more bass and to fill a room. The mid-range for me is a little muddy/confused but I am an audio professional and probably more fussy than most. For a small speaker this is simply ridiculous and very enjoyable to listen to. Yes, its more expensive than some of similar size but I'm not disappointed having spent that money. Oh, maybe an aux jack would be a useful addition, so it's only that, being very slightly under-powered volume-wise and the more hefty price tag that loses it a star.

This is exactly what Bose claim, the best sounding speaker for its size. In fact i prefer this to many other speakers physically bigger and ought to be outclassing its tiny form factor. Obviously you are paying a little for the Bose name and quality, which i think is fair enough, but with that you get their sound signature, which does make for a pleasant EQ that doesn't leave any holes across the spectrum the way others do in exaggerated upper bass or scooped mids. Normally i really dislike 'mono boxes' however good they are but i dont find that with this one at all, surprisingly. I did find that however with its bigger brother (the soundlink colour ii). I think the DSP has been really well tuned and this good EQ is definitely all contributing to that. Now please don't expect to have the bass blow your mind, of course there are physical limitations that even Bose cant work around (yet!) but regardless you'll find it hard not to smile at the performance when the bassline drops. What makes this so wonderful for me, as i travel an awful lot, is the size and weight. There is almost no excuse not to throw it in your bag however little you are traveling with, and the battery life is plenty enough at 6 hours. The magic in this unit is when you're chilling out and just have it sat in the room on the table. Many times now ive found myself enjoying the music i listen to at a comfortable volume whilst browsing the internet on my phone and completely forgetting its there. Then when i look up and see how tiny it is, and just how pleasing and full the sound is, i feel totally reassured about my purchase, ie NO buyer's regret! A little trick in any room if you want to increase the bass is actually to place it in the corner of the room, those low frequencies will suddenly boom a really eye-opening amount, try it if you don't believe me ;-) The fact that you can run two of them in stereo has my purchase finger twitching again, ill be honest. And hey, its amazon, you can always return it (if you need that final push to press the order button - yes im talking to you!) but im pretty this great little bluetooth speaker will be on a one way journey to yours..

Top quality, great sound.

Full transparency - I'm a huge Bose fan. It wasn't until later in life that I was able to afford their products, but now given the choice I prefer to go with Bose. This little speaker is just the latest in my history of Bose products. I had an older Bose Sound Link Mini that worked well but was starting to show its age. It was also a bit clunky and very, very delicate. I was perusing Amazon and came across this little gem and bought one for my wife. She was so impressed with hers that I bought one for me. What I like - well, obviously, it's Bose. The sound is crisp and rich in replicating lows and highs and is characteristic Bose. Obviously bass is somewhat less than other speakers, but for this size speaker the sound is incredible and I'm not a huge fan of "thumpy" bass anyway. I also like the portability. I used the strap to attach the speaker to my belt while doing my evening walk at work and loved that I was able to listen to my MP3 player without having to worry about headphones and potentially getting hit by some of the maintenance vehicles in the factory. I like the Bose app that indicates remaining battery life and bluetooth connections. I'm sure I'm only scratching the surface with the available features, but for what I use it for I'm extremely pleased. As awesome as this little gem is, not all is perfect. There are some issues with the speaker wanting to connect to everything in sight. I love that you can connect to two gadgets simultaneously, but sometimes I don't want that feature and only want one. It takes a little doing but it can connect to just the one, but it's not intuitive. Not a deal breaker. Also there is no feature to plug in an analog MP3 player or device, but since I'm using the bluetooth capability as my excuse to the Mrs. for upgrading my portable capability that really is a non-issue. I've only had the speaker a very short time, but already love it. At some point I would like to test the stereo feature when you connect two speakers to one device, but at the moment my wife and I love having our own discrete speakers. Battery life is rated at 6 hours, but anecdotally it seems to last longer than that. I also don't blast my music at loud volume, so I'm not certain if there's a correlation there. I may have to update my review at a later date after I collect more data and get more enjoyment from the speaker. In summary, the buyer should know that this is what it is...a small, portable and extremely capable Bose speaker. If you're looking for incredibly high highs and rap lows, this may not fill your bill. But if you like your music on the go and with pleasant sound, this is your recommended default.

Amazing sound quality and depth

It has amazing sound. It is compact an handy as well.

I have had a number of Bose products over the years. The bluetooth speakers have never failed me. This is the smallest I have purchased and it's going to get its use! Having moved from a condo to a house I needed another speaker for my main floor. This one gives a nice loud output with no sound disturbances. We also use this in the backyard, again crystal clear sound. Now by loud I mean, I'm a Gen X, so not really loud. This little speaker is great while on my deck and by the end of my yard the sound it's a whisper. Which makes me happy cause I'm always scared my neighbors will get all Karen like over my "loud" music. (PTSD from big city condo living) The stap on it makes this speaker so convenient for hiking! The battery life is healthy. We listen to alot of music as don't have TV. A solid 10 hours before we felt the need to charge at 20%. This is a good purchase, if you're on the fence get it. My last speaker is over 6 years old still awesome but, I don't feel like lugging it around the house. Yes I'm being spoiled! This one is cheaper and super convenient! 100% thrilled with my purchase.
