After use by a youth programming class, all of the classroom iMacs were frozen solid (seemingly by communicating with an online software server). Restarting and unplugging the iMacs had zero effect; both the wireless mice and all of the iMac desktops remained completely frozen and inaccessible. Except for the teacher's station, which thankfully uses a wired mouse! The only solution for this disaster was to port the one wired Macally mouse to access each desktop Force Quit command, then restart. Many experienced Mac users actually prefer using a wired mouse for stable movement on all desk surfaces.
