Very convenient, just one cable to connect on docking. Some vendors (I'm looking at you, Dell), screw up this tidy setup by providing a single USB-C port in a very inconvenient place. As you can see in the first picture, the Thunderbolt cable is right next to the palmrest, , so you can't rest your hand on the desk next to the computer or put documents next to the PC.This iDsonix cable solves all these problems. As you can see from the second picture, it has a 90 degree connector, which keeps the cable out of the way.
