Then I saw this and gave it a try since it is made for the special type of plastic these fuel tanks are made of. It is still working after 2 months of use. It was very easy to use and requires no special prep, but the glue gun I had to buy to apply it was stupidly expensive for what it is. Anyway, the $130 I spent for both was still far better than replacing the tank.
