Ideal Industries Electrical 31-388 Clearglide® Electrical Pulling Lubricant - 1-Quart Squeeze Bottle

We were dangerously close to using up the rest of the soapy traditional lube on a big job and I ordered this instead to finish the job. I have never used the polymer stuff before, and since it was about the same price and could be delivered the next day by 3pm, I took the chance. I don't think I'll ever use the creamy soapy stuff again, this is slicker, dries with almost zero residue, and I think it actually works much better.

Used this to pull 12 UHF cable through flexible conduit. as long as you're PULLING and not trying to PUSH the cable, it works well. TIP- use a fish tape through the conduit first and then attach to the cable to be run through the conduit. I coated the cable and flooded the entrance to the conduit with the lube before running the cable through. It worked perfectly.

I was surprised to see what a difference this can make pulling cable through conduits and would highly recommend this for pulling fiber to reduce the strain on the cable.

It worked well but a much smaller packaging would have been enough, eg. 4oz instead of 1qt.

This was a very must have product for replacing the sunroof drain line. I would have never got the line through the dashboard without this stuff.
