Review: Hue was a little off in low light, but 3rd-party app fixed that pretty well; Mount could be better - After a few tweaks, I am happy with this camera. Even in lower light (home office at night with overhead ceiling fan light turned on), the camera shows a much clearer picture than even my FaceTime HD camera. It also does a nice job with auto-focus even as far as 24" away from me. The mount could be firmer and have more friction though. There appears to be double-sided tape built into the camera, which I may end up making use of. Otherwise, it can slide around pretty easily. Also, it has a hinge as opposed to a ball joint. This doesn't bother me because I was planning on placing it directly in front of me; however, if you plan on putting the camera off on the side, then the ball joint on other models might be important. The worst part I can find about this camera is the default Hue setting, at least in the lower light (home office at night with overhead light) conditions that I was using to test it. I came out a bit pink (although I was in focus and not grainy, as mentioned above). I ended up installing a 3rd-party Webcam Settings app from the App Store and adjusted the Hue a bit to restore normal color to my cheeks. That seemed to work well. So I'm keeping this camera and ordering a second for a computer in another room.
Review: Great webcam at reasonable price - Excellent picture and microphone sound. Automatically sets up. It easily clamps onto the top of the computer monitor, but it does not have any kind of locking mechanism. Be careful not to rock your monitor or brush up against the webcam, or it will fall off and you'll have to reposition and re-aim it.

## Features

- 【True 4K Webcam with Sony Sensor】Equipped with a professional 1/2.8" Sony sensor and a 7-element (6+1IR) glass lens, this 4K Webcam delivers native 3840x2160 UHD resolution at 30fps. It captures incredibly high-definition details and natural skin tones for professional streaming. ⚠️NOTE: To achieve full 4K quality, please plug into a USB 3.0 port. Connection via USB 2.0 or passive hubs will result in reduced resolution and frame rate due to bandwidth limits.
- 【120° Wide Angle & Rapid Auto Focus】This Wide Angle Webcam features a 120-degree field of view, making it ideal for group meetings (2-5 people) without the extreme "fish-eye" distortion found in 180° lenses. The high-speed Auto Focus (AF) provides sharp clarity from as close as 7cm to infinity, ensuring you stay in focus even when moving or presenting documents.
- 【Sturdy Metal Tripod with 360° Adjustment】As a complete 4K Webcam with Tripod set, we include a heavy-duty aluminum stand. Unlike flimsy plastic tripods, our stand features telescopic legs for height adjustment and a 360° metal ball head for precise angling. This professional Webcam with Tripod solution ensures your camera remains stable on any desktop surface.
- 【Remote Control: Hardware-Level Control】Manage your calls instantly with the included remote control. You can adjust the 4X digital zoom, mute the microphone with one click, flip the image, or tweak brightness settings. These are hardware-based controls that ensure seamless compatibility across all video apps on Windows and macOS without needing to open software menus.
- 【AI Background Noise Canceling Mics】The built-in dual stereo microphones use AI background noise reduction technology to filter out standard office and home noise. With a long-range pickup of up to 16 feet (5m), it ensures your voice is heard clearly and naturally during online conferences, online teaching, or video chats.
- 【90.9dB High Dynamic Range (HDR)】The industry-standard 90.9dB hardware HDR automatically balances highlights and shadows in real-time. Whether you are working in a dimly lit room or facing a bright window, this feature prevents your face from appearing dark or overexposed, ensuring a professional appearance in challenging lighting environments.
- 【Customizable Webcam Software & Compatibility】Fine-tune your video via the Spedal software (available on our official site) to manually adjust exposure, saturation, contrast, and white balance. Compatibility: Plug and play via USB-A/C (Mac adapter included). Compatible with Zoom, Teams, and OBS.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this webcam really 4K?**
A: Yes. It supports true 4K UHD video up to 30 FPS. For the best image quality, we recommend connecting it directly to a USB 3.0 port instead of a USB 2.0 port or passive USB hub.

**Q: Is it good for group meetings?**
A: Yes. The 120° wide-angle lens helps capture more of the room, so it works well for small conference rooms, team calls, online classes, and shared desk setups.

**Q: Does the webcam need to be charged?**
A: No. The webcam is powered by USB cable, so there is no charging required. The included remote control uses a CR2032 button battery.

**Q: What can I do with the remote control?**
A: You can adjust digital zoom, brightness, mute, image flip, and other settings without touching the webcam. Please note that the zoom is digital zoom, not optical zoom.

**Q: Can I use it with a smart TV or game console?**
A: This webcam is designed mainly for computers, including Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. It is not recommended for Smart TVs, game consoles, CCTV, or security monitoring systems.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did not live up to the hype

Suggested rating: **2 out of 5 stars** **Title: Difficult to Secure on a Large LG Monitor and No Privacy Shutter** I purchased the Spedal 4K Webcam with the Sony 1/2.8-inch sensor, 120-degree wide-angle view, dual microphones, and tripod because the specifications appeared suitable for video meetings and professional use. Unfortunately, it was not practical with my 36-inch LG monitor. The primary problem was the mounting system. The webcam was difficult to position securely on top of my large monitor and repeatedly fell off. I tried adjusting and repositioning it, but the mount did not provide a dependable grip. A webcam should remain stable once installed—not require constant attention or create concern that it will fall and possibly damage the camera, monitor, or desk. The included tripod provides another placement option, but using a separate tripod should not be necessary when the product is advertised as a monitor-mounted webcam. The tripod also occupies additional desk space and does not provide the same natural viewing angle as mounting the camera directly above the screen. I was also disappointed that the webcam does not include a built-in physical privacy shutter or privacy cover. For a camera intended to remain connected to a computer, a physical privacy feature should be standard. I should be able to visibly block the lens without disconnecting the webcam, turning it around, or purchasing a separate cover. The 4K resolution, Sony sensor, wide-angle lens, and dual microphones sound impressive on paper, but those features are less valuable when the webcam cannot remain securely positioned on the monitor. The 120-degree view may also be wider than necessary for individual video calls and can show considerably more of the room than expected—making the absence of a privacy shutter even more noticeable. This webcam may work better with a smaller or thinner monitor, or for someone planning to use the tripod permanently. However, it was not a good fit for my 36-inch LG monitor. Before purchasing, I recommend that buyers check the thickness and shape of their monitor and determine whether they are comfortable using a separate tripod. Also be aware that you may need to purchase an aftermarket privacy cover. For my setup, the unstable mounting system and lack of a physical privacy shutter outweighed the camera’s advertised technical features. It should have been much easier to install, position, and use securely.
