**Q: Does this contain BPA?**
A: I've been buying these for some time and my understanding is no bpa, I like these for the practicality and great price.

**Q: Are these straw individually wrapped?  (I prefer not wrapped, because the wrapping is an annoyance and a waste)**
A: They are not individually wrapped. All 250 straws are placed together in a package.

**Q: What is the diameter of the straw opening?**
A: Had to measure it, they look standard like straws you'd see anywhere. 3/8 of an inch.

**Q: Are these steong enough to use for cakes in place of dowels?**
A: I purchased them some time ago but they're the same texture as any normal straws. I know how sturdy cake dowels are and these are not what you'd need.
