Any thoughts?** A: The "random" function changes the order in which bird calls are played. If OFF, calls will play in numerical from 1-8. If ON, calls may play in a nonnumeric order. Random has no effect if less than 3 calls are set to ON. If you still feel your unit is defective, please call 312-226-2473 9-5pm CST to speak to customer service. **Q: Does it work for woodpeckers wanting to nest** A: You would want version WP, woodpecker, to use against woodpeckers. The unit works well against the birds listed, but once birds have nested it is always more difficult to make them leave. **Q: Having problems with Downy woodpeckers drumming on cedar shingles, anybody have any success with them this device ?** A: Don't waste your money on this device. It won't even keep a sparrow away. **Q: How well does it work on robins?** A: This product doesn't work at all. Birds still come around just as much as before. It broke after only one season.
