**Q: Does this fit the first surface tablet? the surface rt?**
A: I don't know what first surface tablet is. It fit surface tablet R2. I personally had problem with the glue, glue did not work completely, and touch screen function stopped working with the new screen.

**Q: i recieved mine but why is the screen not responding to touch?**
A: that happened to me to, you just need to ether make sure the ribbon cable is secure or the drivers are right.

A: yes
