Men's Modern Fit High Performance Separates Business Suit Jacket, Black Solid, 36 Regular

INTENDED USE:I work part-time as a retail security officer in a high end luxury store. I am required to wear an all black suit. Standing in one place for more than 4 hours is common.MY DIMENSIONS:I am approximately 5’ 10” tall and weigh about 225 pounds. My jacket size is 46 R. My waist size fluctuates between 36 to 38. My inseam size is 30FIT:Earlier reviews recommended to purchase a size up. I wish I followed their suggestions as the jacket was a little snug by the armpit/rib cage area. I think they were right about the fit being closer to a Slim fit as opposed to a modern fit.OVERALL LOOK:The color is a nice dark black. The weight of the jacket is lightweight and the material looks more solid than weaved in the photo. The material is a little stretchy, but not overly stretchy like the more recent modern style of suits. The matching pants (see my review for this) is of a lighter weight and stretchy. Not the wild stretch, but a stretch that will move without looking wrinkled. Sorry Twillory. No vents-something I prefer.WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?:Short answer is yes. It really depends if I can match it with a matching pair of pants. With my weight fluctuations, this is probably a no go for now. It’s cheap enough to shove it in a bag and store until I need it, but my wife’s ire with me buying things and just shoving it in the closet makes this purchase a no-go.

Bought this suit in charcoal for my son's homecoming dance. He's 6' 1.5" and 200 pounds and wears a 16.5"/36-37" dress shirt. He's normally a 34x34 in jeans, but, following advice from the reviews, we sized up to 36x34 in the pants. Ordered a 42L in the jacket. (These are suit separates; you have to place the jacket and pants in your cart individually). Both pieces fit PERFECTLY, as though they were tailored for him. Love the neutral, charcoal color, which can be worn to weddings, funerals, or work functions. In my son's case, we jazzed it up with a green shirt and floral tie to match his date's "fairy green" dress. The fabric is lightweight, cool, and has just the right amount of drape and stretch. Son said it was surprisingly comfortable. My husband tried on the jacket and and I couldn't believe how nice the modern/slimmer cut looked on him. I'm actually thinking of buying one for him in a 40L. I was lucky to find this suit on sale and paid just over 100 for the set. A steal! However, I do think it's worth it's retail price.

Nice pants and purchased the jacket as well.The pant sizes are way off is my only issue. Originally ordered 32x, very big, ordered 30x very small, hopefully when the 31x arrives it fits :-)These are worth the money if you can find the right size. Cannot say they run big or small because so far they run big and small if you know what I mean. You may need to "try first" order multiple sizes to get the correct fit.As a short note regarding the jacket, the sizes seem to run correctly, but keep in mind these are somewhat between slightly slim fit to young man's fit.

Needed a quick suit for last minute travel. This suits checks a lot of boxes on price (ok) fit (about on target) and look (not too tight, not too baggy). Shipper should consider a little care in transport. Mine smelled faintly like a cologne counter and was crumpled. They use glue for adhesion so crumpling doesn’t come out like better wool - it needs to be pressed out.

The heading on this product says "Suit Separates," so there should be no reason for all the bad reviews. I ordered both the jacket and the pants, and they're great. The jacket is probably a bit bigger than I would expect for a slim/modern fit, but not enough that I would return it. The pants are a true slim fit. The waist was true to size, and the pants fit snuggly around the calves.

The fit was perfect. As others have noted, you will need to order each piece separate. The pants arrived about a month before the jacket.

It's kind of misleading if you read suit and it's only the pants what you're gonna get. The pants are great though

This is a great quality suit option, but please be aware that you need to order the pants and jacket separately. Choose the jacket size, add to your cart, return to the listing, order the pant size and add to cart. It is a two step process to get both the pants and the jacket.The jacket itself fits a bit long (on 5'11" man), but still looks great. The price is unbeatable and I am very happy with the purchase.
