I bought this for connecting ext. USB drive to my AFTVStick
This two-way OTG powered cable works perfectly with any version of the FireTV Stick, giving you the advantage of connecting external USB storage to the FireTV Stick through a built-in USB-A female adapter. The ext. storage should be formatted as FAT32 filesystem. Whereas FireOS ver 6, 7 and 8 will list the ext. USB storage and give an option to use this space exclusively either for app storage or data/file storage, FireOS ver 5.xxx doesn't list the ext. storage but it will be detected by any file manager app and be used as an additional data drive only. Nicely packed value-for-money build quality. Go for it!

Worked like a charm
Worked like a charm, I have fire Tv OS 7.9.9 And it give me option to use USB drive as a Internal drive but you can't transfer already installed apps. But it gives you option to install new apps on USB drive. Either you can use USB as internal storage or External storage for store movies & other files. I used 32GB drive and it worked. You can use USB hub for multiple devices like mouse and keyboard.

Working as specified
It is assisting for connecting a usb drive to Amazon Fire stick 4k Max with power supply to fire stick and pendrive. I am using it for playing / pass through Dolby Atmos on (Dolby Digital Plus / TrueHD as DD+) stored on USB drive to my Denon S760H with app Kodi v22 installed on Fire Stick Max with proper audio settings to pass through Dolby Atmos. It such an innovative product in helping in a high end application at such a low cost.

Not enough power supply to fire tv stick

Work with pendrive not with HDD
I tried to conmect with pendrive it works. But when connected to hdd It does not work. Firestick reboots as soon as hdd is connected
