Well-built, well-priced, super convenient tool to have for DIY
Used this to remove the crankshaft bolt on a BMW N20 engine for timing chain replacement. That bolt is torqued to yield at the factory with a breaking torque upward of 700 Nm but came out in a minute. A wonderful tool to have for DIY. As another user noted, very useful to remove lug bolts that have been over-torqued in shops. The price is excellent. I don't bother writing reviews but this tool deserves it.

This is the best 3/4 drive ratchet I’ve ever used.
I love the versatility and durability of this ratchet. Several of my coworkers actually told me about this ratchet, and after trying theirs, I had to buy one. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth, and it switches directions without much effort. It is super easy to extend the ratchet, and it locks into place pretty easily. This thing is also super strong, I’ve had it fully extended while putting all of my 250 pound frame on the end of it, and it held up and kept working without any issues. If you work on things with big bolts, consider getting one of these, you won’t regret it.

Great quality
Half the price of the tool truck. Very handy to have use it torquing head bolts on 9L engines and other large bolts

Well worth the money
I work as a semi mechanic and use this pretty much everyday. The quality of the ratchet is great and I have not had even a hint of the teeth wearing down or slipping. I'm pretty sure this is the same ratchet that Matco sells for $200. I put it side by side with my coworker's Matco and it seems identical. Update: 1 Year After over a year of using this ratchet pretty much daily it is still going strong. All the teeth still engage and the handle lock works fine. 2 others in my shop have bought the same one with the same results as I have had. Update: 5 years Over 5 years now and the ratchet is going strong still. I do not use it as frequently but when I do it is not light use. Highly recommend still

Monster wrench, but buyers need to fix two things
One big, beefy wrench. I purchased this to use on difficult bolts in areas I can't easily fit an impact wrench on a project I have. I highly doubt it will be within most people's ability to break this thing. However, E-Z Red appears to sell repair kits for the gearing should this happen. I must note that upon reading some reviews, some buyers were complaining of the screws backing themselves out and getting lost. So I decided to test this, and sure enough they were loose enough to remove with finger strength alone (with the proper bit). I figured what the heck, I might as well take a look inside of this thing--and did. I was surprised to find zero lubrication inside the wrench. I have no idea why the company doesn't put some in. From my understanding, grease inside the wrench helps keep these things sound. So I took out the gear and slathered bearing grease on the whole thing and reinserted it. Then I put the screws back in with a good coating of blue lock-tight. The result? The wrench is now smooth and quiet, and I have no fear of losing the screws. I would highly recommend anyone buying this take the same steps. If you do, it's very likely this will last you a lifetime. I removed 1 star for having to do these things myself.

Don’t use it all the time but when I do it works
I have had this ratchet for about 6 years now. I’ve worn out one anvil and paw set but I was able to flip the anvil and have it come out the top to get me through a job. I just bought a rebuild kit for and it it’s still going strong. I will say I’ve abused this. I’ve used 2” ratchet straps to yard on it a few times and it flexed pretty good but the handle still works. For the money you can’t beat it.

Quality tool
I’m blown away with the quality and price. I’m usually picky about my tools. Snap on 3/4” ratchet is $550 and I couldn’t bring myself to buy it. This EZRed is worth $300 +

I had one before and it was durable and gave me leverage when needed and it didn't break. I didn't abuse it and used a breaker bar or impact gun for stubborn fasteners. This is a good addition to my ratchets and it was no need to get a tool truck brand and spend four or five times the price for a decent ratchet.

Top level ratchet drive. Put it though the paces removing rust on wheel nuts. Wrench performance perfect. Extendable handle locked in place securely and was easy and quick to adjust. Recommended highly.

Very solid ratchet. The handle locks solid and you can put lots of force on it.
