## Description

ASP Red Gun Training EquipmentThe police firearm is an officer’s most distinctive piece of service equipment. Each year a significant number of law enforcement personnel are shot with their own weapons. Weapon retention training as well as weapon disarming procedures are critical law enforcement skills. In addition, police personnel must learn to routinely carry firearms and master the safe handling of weapons under stress. Officers must acquire weapon safety skills for use while moving, when searching and during room clearance procedures. Red Guns provide rugged, lightweight training replicas that are precisely detailed to create a safe training environment. The use of real weapons during training classes has resulted in far too many law enforcement students and instructors being seriously injured with “unloaded” firearms and “safe” knives.ASP Red Guns provide realistic training replicas of actual law enforcement equipment.Red Guns are lightweight and forgiving in the training environment. Because they are reinforced, Red Guns have the durability necessary for continuous training use.Precision molded Red Guns fit high security law enforcement duty holsters. Red Guns provide a safe means of training law enforcement personnel to handle, transport, retain and present firearms. In every significant training detail, Red Guns replicate the exact appearance and handling characteristics of duty firearms. The distinctive molded-in color of Red Guns readily identifies them as “safe” to the public and in the training environment.

Review: Perfect for training - Great weight and durability is perfect too! It feels like a real knife when it comes to movement just without the fear of accidentally cutting myself or others! Great to help train and the safety of this makes it worth it! It also looks nice and real which is good too to take it seriously when training!
Review: Great Product, recommended - Got it yesterday. As a Self-Defense Instructor, I use training knoves for all kinds of scenarios. This is my first purchase of this knife and it has held up to all my torture tests. I just got done driving an hour with it in my back pocket. Held up just fine and sprung right back into shape. I can see this one will be very hard to break or destroy. It is lighter than a real knife of like size, but has a great balance and I feel they got the size and look of a knife down as well as a good quality tool for training. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to train with knives to get basics of knife fighting or defensive knife fighting techniques down, as this is not sharp or pointy by any means. The blade is just sturdy enough that if your hit with it, you know but gives before pain is a huge factor. I will be purchasing more in the future.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Training Tool
*by U***T on May 29, 2012*

My kids and I attend self-defense classes which includes weapons defense training. As such, we rehearse at home what we learn in the dojo. ASP is a well-known maker of dummy weapons (most notably handguns and rifles) for handling and draw techniques. I was very pleased with the quality of the knife. It's made of very solid industrial rubber which doesn't feel like it will break or degrade over time. The weapon bends as expected when pushed hard into someone's side or chest, but otherwise serves it's purpose as a training tool. It's been tossed, kicked, deflected but doesn't show any wear or tear. The packaging was minimal, but quite frankly, what does one expect - it's a hunk of rubber! The heft is just a bit less than an equivalent metal knife but the intent isn't to teach the person how to use a knife offensively. Nonetheless, it could also serve in that capacity as well. Excellent buy - it was shipped on time and packed well during transit.
