I have three of these
Big Sitka fan, I have three of these jackets (black, dirt and tidal). I am 5'9" and 150-170 depending on my current exercise. I prefer the medium, but large fits fine too. Depending on what you like in style, I have the 2021 and older version. The 2022 version is different in color options and the zipper areas have different colors. Regardless, I love these jackets. Not great for insulation but great for wind protection. If you wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath, you don't need insulation for everyday wear. Great stuff. I prefer to buy these on sale as you can get them for $100 or more off if you are patient.

Really short
Look, this is a great jacket BUT my husband ordered a 3XL and it fit like Winnie the Pooh. WAY TOO SHORT for a larger sized jacket. It looks like they manufactured them wider as the sizes go up, but the length stayed the same whether it was a small, medium, large….etc. If you’re ordering a smaller size, it shouldn’t be an issue. But anything bigger probably won’t work.
