35580 5 Piece Extractor Set for Models 1-5

My favorite broken bolt/stud extractors without a doubt. I’ve had very good luck with these extractors.

Just wanted to say this company is on top of things. Received this kit. Package was sealed, and the outer box was tapped. The smallest bolt extractor rod was missing from kit package. Had the nut, just no rod extractor. Sent a message stating my problem. They were quick to send out a whole other package. Received it quickly. I would highly recommend using this seller. A++ . As to the bolt extractors themselves. They look like they will do the job. Haven’t used them yet.

However the nuts are weak split the 2 larger ones in half. So I tried extracting the bolt by using a 14inch pipe wrench the extractor did not break. The broken bolt remained because it jumped threads and had to be drilled out. Not by fault of the product though.

If you have have this kit you know that the flutes & nuts are what wears out. Snap on,Blue point,Mac & Matco kits are all made from Ridgid & rebranded. I paid half the price of the other tool companies and will buy the replacements again when they wear out.

If I could only choose one style of ease out this would be it. If you get some left hand drill bits it helps even more.

A must for left handed threads. Best easy out I have ever used
