"&"nbsp;LP includes one 180-gram translucent yellow vinyl Review: Worth Every Penny.... - I listened to this album once before I decided to buy it on vinyl and I couldn't be happier. It came on time and in perfect condition. It is a clear pressing, which is always sick! Jack Antonoff is an amazing song writer and producer. He puts his heart and soul into this record and for a debut, it's incredible. I will forever be a Bleachers fan now. Every song is better than the last, because it starts strong and ends strong, like a perfect record should. The 80's love song feel to ever amazing song grabs you and pulls you into the music. After listening to Strange Desire I have a better understanding of the concept of love and what it feels like to love and lose, or to be able to put your self out there for all to see. Jack Antonoff made an incredible record and I thank him for making me a fan of his music and love. Review: Listen to the whole thing! - I heard these guys on the car radio and ordered the CD as soon as I at my destination! The entire album is truly worth a listen. Alternative is a good category for this music but it is more. One thing I really like about this album is it flows so well from song to song. It is truly an "album" leading you from song to song and even the last song flowing to the first on again when the CD repeats. If you've heard "I wanna get better" on the radio you will find some of the same energy and feel on other songs , you won't feel dubbed into buying music that doesn't sound like what made you like them in the first place. Some music feel of the 80's and 90's in the right ways, yes you'll wanna move your feet. Wild Heart will haunt you more than once as you listen through but Rollercoaster and Reckless Love will take you away. This among a handful of other artist have brought me back to the radio hoping to hear other new, truly new good music

Other than the terrible one, the songs are great.
I enjoyed most of the songs on this album since I am a child of the 80s and they are reminiscent of 80s music, but with a modern twist and soul. I will warn you, however, to NOT listen to the song featuring Yoko Ono. At all. Just skip past it. Trust me on this one. It's every bit as awful as you would expect a Yoko Ono song to be. Every other song on this album deserves accolades. But that one. That one deserves to be cast into the pit of Hades to burn for all eternity. Seriously, don't torture yourself just to see if I'm right. I am. Well, I mean hey, maybe you like Yoko Ono and other various awful vocalists who have waged a war on your ear drums. If that is the case, maybe you'll like that song. If so, then bully for you. But if you're like the other 99.9% of us, then just don't on that one. Overall, I'll have to give the album 5/5 stars.

DANCE, RASCALS DANCE BUY THIS ALBUM.
BABY GOYA AND THE NUCLEAR WINTER! Yahoo! Love this CD and the sound of this extraordinary band. Intro to them from the film, HELLO, MY NAME IS DORIS. Really think that this band would do better with the name from that film, but I suppose there is some licensing issues with the film's producers that make that too expensive. Perhaps we could create a 'crowd funding program' to make that happen, because I can see a future on Colbert, Fallon,Meyers, and Cordon, if they could make the change. Highly, highly recommend this group and eagerly awaiting the CD that features DANCE, RASCAL DANCE from the film. Real dance music in the electronic rock niche.

Excellently produced album with a nice blend of acoustic and electronica
Excellently produced album with a nice blend of acoustic and electronica. The vocals fit the music so well, this should be their 4th or 5th album. Any new band brave enough to have Yoko Ono on it deserves at least 3 stars just for that. Thank God she is not throughout the album but it's campy enough to be cool on the track. I buy quite a few CDs, and have pretty varied taste in music, and I find myself coming back to this one and listening and enjoying it more very time I listen to it. I will purchase their next album without hearing one note from it. Really a nice job of creating some infectious tunes that I can't shake from my head.

Album is great except for double gatefold for single disk.
It's very unfortunate that many of these new pressings are made with double gatefold even though they are single disc albums. They are pressed this way so the manufacturer doesn't have to have a different process for single vs double albums but it seems pretty wasteful of material. Not only does the unnecessary double gatefold take up more space in my collection, I have to put an outer sleeve on it to keep it tidy and from flopping around. So we are wasting the material itself by doubling up the gatefold and wasting a plastic sleeve which I normally wouldn't use for a new pressing like this. I realize that perhaps there is an efficiency in the manufacturing process because of this system but it seems pretty wasteful and pointless on the consumer end. I don't want to have to waste plastic and lose storage space so the manufacturer can save a few pennies per single disc pressing. Great album tho, Jack is the man!

Jack Antonoff is THE SHIT!!
Jack knows what he’s doing and he does it well. This album is brilliant start to finish, and the songs are beautiful as stand alones as well. As if it couldn’t get any better, hearing them live is otherworldly!! Jack and his band mates put on the best show possible, and I’m always counting down the days to the next one! Go buy this album, and listen to wake me! Simply because wake me is my favorite.

Great '80's inspired music that is created in this century! Excellent overall!
Excellent music if you grew up in the '80s as a kid. This album truly represents the coming of age movies that are inspired by John Hughes and used in today's modern movies. I enjoy the upbeat, optimistic tempo of the music and it's pop sounding vibe. These guys really know how to rock and you have you check out their music videos, such imagination!

Amazing album. Reminds me of the great music we had in the 80s and 90s. Fits well in any John Hughes film

I don't buy many albums without hearing them, but, feeling a bit let down by the solo Nate Ruess album, I decided to take a chance on fellow fun member Jack Antonoff's Bleachers project, and boy was I impressed! It is indeed a great, uplifting album, nice and loud, strong on bass and drums, with some pretty catchy songs to boot. It kicks off nicely with "Wild Heart" and just gets better as the album progresses. There is one duff track, "I'm ready to move on" which features Yoko Ono, but just skip this, as other reviewers have already said, it is pretty dire. Otherwise, a great album and I shall look forward to another one hopefully.

Their debut album is probably their second finest. Overall- it’s a great listen. Tons of angst and emotion. If you are a fan, you should get this before it’s gone. I’m not sure why they went with a clear yellow though for the vinyl… just weird.
