Easy to use and although I have only used on two fillet knives so far the results are good.

I am highly impressed with the Orange Ninja sharpener by Sharp Pebble. My old kitchen knives were completely dull. They now slice through tomatoes effortlessly.The 4-slot design is incredible. I love the dedicated serrated slot. Most standard manual sharpeners ignore bread knives entirely. The ergonomic handle is very comfortable. The non-slip base keeps it safe and secure on my counter. It works flawlessly for both right and left-handed use. Highly recommend this tool!

This well-engineered, sturdy, and easy-to-use tool has quickly become a frequently used and favorite in my kitchen, where I chop a LOT of vegetables daily. I like it and enjoy using it as much as my (now) ever-sharp knives. The only issue I experienced with this knife sharpener is not initially understanding how to use the "serrated" setting. Salma, the owner, sent me these WRITTEN instructions for how to use that serrated setting: -- One side of serrated knives is usually flat. The other side has the serrations (grooves/teeth). -- The white ceramic piece inside the serrated setting is a rounded ceramic rod, and it sharpens only one side of the serrated blade at a time. It can be rotated from side to side, depending on which side of the knife is being sharpened. -- The serrated side (grooved side) should face and make contact with the white ceramic rod. -- The flat side should stay against the opposite guide (orange/black side). As you gently pull the knife through, the rod fits into the serrations and sharpens them individually. -- So depending on your knife: -- if the serrations are on the right side, that side should contact the white rod -- if the serrations are on the left side, flip the knife so that side contacts the white rod You are not sharpening both sides at once — only one serrated side is being sharpened at a time.

Works well with kitchen knives but pocket knives won’t reach the stone at the beck part of the edge due to the narrow opening. The handle keeps it from reaching the stone

Difficult to sharpen a pair of scissors with serrated edges. Otherwise for regular knives it works great.

Over the years I have struggled with various knife sharpening devices that made some sort of improvement, but never returned the knife to its original condition. I had reached the point of thinking the best thing to do would be to cut my losses and buy new knives. The Orange Ninja actually delivers on its promises. I fond myself slicing ripe tomatoes just for fun. This thing really works! I was a bit skeptical when it came to scissors, but lo and behold - it works! One thing. The name "Ninja" subliminally relates it to the Ninja blenders and kitchen appliances that bear that name. It is not related to them, however.
