Small, lightweight and true plug n play, the adapter allows you to add more power to your computer. No cutting wires or soldering, no compromising the integrity or function of your pc. Now there is a way to add more power to your pc. Finally a true plug and play way to manage additional power for those big video cards, bigger hard drives, cooling fans and cool lighting arrangements that everybody wants. Adding more power does not mean that you use more, you just have more to use. You get better power distribution than just using one power supply and you share the load with having more units. To use, plug a 4 pin Molex connector from the primary power supply and the 24 pin atx connector from the secondary power supply into the unit. When the primary power supply is powered on, the secondary power supply will also turn on.

Review: Works Great! - I used this to add a 2nd PSU to my server. Connections were tight and it worked instantly. I liked that this version of a dual PSU switch has no cables to get pinched or burned up. It feels sturdy and well-built. The only thing I wish it had is a case of some sort. I plan to 3d print one, but I would have paid extra to have one that comes in a case so the contacts aren't exposed. For now I wrapped it in electric tape.
Review: Great adapter to add a second PSU to any mining rig! - I bought one of these rather than the cable PSU splitters that you occasionally hear horror stories about (catching fire), and also because there were a plethora of positive reviews for this one in particular, even though the price is a bit higher. I've had this in a 6x 1080 Ti rig with 2 850 watt PSU's, for about 2-3 weeks now, and have had 0 issues. The power supply that is connected to this adapter turns on a split second after the main PSU, and if I need to do a shutdown for maintenance, the PSU on this adapter also shuts down a split second after the primary one. This is rock solid. My only minor complaint is it comes with no styrofoam backing like a PCI-E riser does, and it also does not come with any screws. So if you want to mount this to your rig, you'd need to pick up some small wood or metal screws.

**Q: I know someone mentioned this in the comments but just to be sure, can a second one of these be used to join a second psu (total of 3 psus) ?**
A: Yes, you can daisychain 2+ PSU but make sure that your specific units will maintain required voltages always.

**Q: The 2nd psu powers on a fraction later then the primary and all the gpus on 2nd aren't being detected by my motherboard, how do solve this?**
A: power should be instantaneous so .... its something to do with your first psu or the molex rail you are using.

**Q: Does it matter which components are powered by each psu? for instance, should a matching gpu + riser all be in 1 psu, or is mix-n-match fine?**
A: The other person is wrong. You want to power both parts of your riser/gpu pair with the same psu. Don’t mix and match

**Q: How many psu can I connect to this ?**
A: Well there are 2 plugs on this, one comes from psu that powers mobo, other sends on signal to second psu.  I would imagine you can chain together 3 or 4 psu if required.

With how difficult and expensive 1500+ watt power supplies are right now, its far easier to find two lower power PSU’s and use this to daisy chain them together. The trigger to turn on, at least in my experience is near instantaneous...all the cards and risers being powered on by the second PSU power on and are recognized correctly when the PC boots. I strongly suggest this to anyone who needs to daisy chain to PSU’s together. In my opinion its much safer then using a 24pin ATX splitter and saves you the time, money and trouble of having to find a single 1500w+ PSU. Im very happy with how this part worked out, and have also tested it with 3 PSU’s total, so 2 daisy chained and it work just as well.
