My main issue is falling asleep when I go to bed. My usual regimen of valerian seemed to be getting less effective so I looked for something else and tried this product. The recommended dose is 2 to 4 tablets. For me, 2 is not enough and 4 causes vivid dreams which can be upsetting, so 3 tablets seem to be my magic number. My advice is to start low and titrate up, due to the dream issue. I do not feel any daytime hangover but sleep hard at night and feel rested when I get up.

I have used this product for over 15 years and it is the only one that continues to work even as I get older and sleep becomes more challenging. I now have to take 3 or 4 instead of the 2 that I used to take but they are gentle and I am sensitive to other sleep supplements so even more does not bother me. I chew them because they are large hard tablets and too big for me to ever swallow. However, the taste is not bad, just a little gritty with water to wash it down. Since I chew them they seem to act relatively quickly by comparison as they are already broken down for digestion. I hope this helps as it is a great product and I am just glad that I found them on Amazon as my health food store stopped carrrying them. It was probably because they are so large and hard to swallow. Just chew them. Problem solved. : )

I have tried to use this for a week and have to use all 4 of the recommended dosage to feel anything. It neither calms or helps me sleep. So I’m stuck with a lot of useless pills being I bought the 200 pills thinking it would work like a previous product of theirs. … I tried “Night Rest” by the same brand and it helped me sleep for about 8 hours and I am a light sleeper. I will buy this again. This one is quite disappointing.
