Now they can take the bait without triggering the trap. Any suggestions?** A: use peanut butter and bait outside the circle toward the hinged area. place some peanut butter on top of the inside area toward the hinged area. this way the mouse must climb further inside the trap for it to snap and capture them. **Q: What do you bait them with?** A: I use chunky peanut butter at the back of the trap beyond the circle.
