Are they brighter than regular bulbs?

The short answer is "No". These produce light within +/- 5% (or so) of non tinted H3 bulbs of equal wattage. Placing them in non-fog lamps do NOT make them fog lamps. Fog lamps have a specific beam pattern regardless of what color the light is. Wattage is a measurement of energy, NOT lumenosity. Don't confuse one for the other. Companies claiming "55w=85w" are lying to you, or at least playing to your ignorance. To get a brighter light from a given wattage, engineers design a thinner filament for the capsule. The trade off is shorter lifespan. Rated in dozens rather than hundreds of hours.

What is the temp range / color?

The manufacturer's specification indicates 2,900k and 1,450 lumens. http://www.myhellalights.com/links/Product_Overview-Catalog-1st_Edition7-17.pdf. See page # 90

Will they fit a 1996 300zx.

Depends on your bulb size. If your 300zx takes h3 than you can get it. Goto sylvania website to see the size bulb you need. I would recommend nokya bulbs
