TOPDON BT50 Car Battery Tester

This worked MAGNIFICENT! For me very good reading on my car and my family's. Very easy to use and use.

Works flawlessly a little slow on the initial battery test but the rest is awesome.

Very solid like the display and cable length is decent

Bought this because a mechanic had recommended it. Works perfects and I was able to figure out what the battery health so it saved me money from buying a new battery thinking it would fix the issue I had. Very easy to use.

First day test results: It appears to work for battery testing based on four batteries tested. The measured CCA and resistance values appear to match what I expected for the age of the batteries.I tested a 580CCA, two 900CCA and one 750CCA batteries.Details for nerds like me:Interesting design; it appears to have a four wire connection to the batter clamps to accurately measure battery voltage. The load resistor appears to be two small wires to the clamps plus some internal load measurement resistance.Looks like maybe 20 or 22AWG wire. So it likely cannot maintain the require test current for more than perhaps a few milliseconds. For a cheap tester this provides a quick load test which should indicate initial internal battery resistance. Perhaps not as good as giant load testers which can maintain the tests for seconds or minutes but also super cheap to build. Overall I think it works to provide a very low cost battery load test for consumers like me. I would probably not buy one if I was a full time mechanic as I doubt this will hold up for years of testing multiple times a week.Appears to be a good choice for home mechanics.

Been using for various riding mower batteries. Works very well.

Have tested a few batteries and seems to work like it is supposed to and pretty accurate.

I work as a lube tech, simple easy battery tester, takes 10 seconds max and you have an accurate reading!

Great quick battery tester. Covers almost all type of batteries that Ive came aroundVery accurate and easy to use. Helps to sell more batteries for technicians out there. Quality of clamps are also great!! Earns all 5 star for its price point

Fonctionne bien facilement utilisation.

Very fast delivery. Yet to use all the functions but I was able to immediately confirm that both my batteries were not on their last legs, saving me several hundred pounds in replacing them ( the tester will show when they are). Good value for private owner use, I guess more expensive items in the range may be appropriate for mechanics. Recommended.
