Dayton Audio MKBoom Portable Bluetooth Speaker Kit Without Batteries

This was a fun project to put together. If you are new to these types of kits this is a good one to start with. It is fairly straightforward to put together and the instructions are pretty good but there was one or two places in the instructions where I had to watch a youtube video to make sure I understood it correctly. It did not come with batteries so you want to make sure to order them before putting in the back control panel. You will need to use some shrink tubing which comes with the kit to splice wires together in two spots. I used solder to tin the wires before putting on the shrink tubing. You don't necessarily have to do this but if you know how to solder it would be good to do it.

This is my second purchase of this. Why? Becuase the one I bought two years ago is so awesome in it's space I bought a second for a remote office in another space of my property. Everything about this product is pure audio goodness. If you don't like the MDF color then you can paint, decorate it with vinyl sheets or wall paper. LOL. I didn't get mine with batteries because I have many 18650s of my own and I only trust my own. So I saved some money there. The size is perfect for my wall and this is truly hi-def and even the BT sound is amazing and it doesn't have the so called LDAC. I pair mine with a schitt magni 3 and a fosi audio for exterme flexibility and sound choices and a very, very small setup pefect for off grid and so loud you will be amazed.
